What is photopgraphy for me
Ever since my teens I have been interested in the art of photography. What caught my interest was the complex mix of art and science involved. To become a great photographer you need a good understanding of the optical and mechanical features behind, such as shutter speed, apperture, sensor sensitivity and focus. But without the artistic feeling for composition, lights and colour, you would never become a great photographer.
The feeling after snapping a really good shot is hard to compare to something else!
My Contributions
I have mostly been photographing for my own interest, but I have also done some smaller jobs for dinners, weddings and a swim meet. Since I am a passionate traveler that love to explore the world, the photography has also become a good way to capture my memories.
In the context of UX design the knowledge of photography comes in handy in two ways. Firstly due to the knowledge of composition and harmony between colors, but also to make websites more personal and original when I can use my own material for pictures in the websites. This was the case for my proct with Walis Cykel.
