I'm Hugo Ingelhammar

An apiring UX-designer with a big passion for art, design and most other aesthetical subjects, like photography, barbering and drawing.

My Career so far

In university I studied a masters degree in Design and Product development, as a way to implement the design into an otherwise technical degree. During my university years I got an understanding of how to identify user needs, semantics, interactional design and how to use colours and shapes. The biggest part though was the knowledge and experience I gained in problem solving. How to take into account a users requirements, transforming them into needs and from there create concepts that fullfills all the needs and requirements in a satisfying way.

In my working life so far, I have been working as a technical consultant for Saab in Linköping. I have been working within digital 3D-manufacturing as a method developer and support for several manufacturing softwares. I have created and designed E-learning courses, solved countless user problems and identified new ways of working.

I have learned alot, but now it is time for something new, more creative where I can express my aesthetical side as a UX designer.

Who am I?

People describe me as a social person with alot of energy who likes to express myself. I am very curious and always want to discover new things, whether it may be food, travel destinations, languages or spare time activities. I like a mix of high and low. You should be able to joke about stuff and be silly, but also be able to open up and talk about deeper and more meaningful subjects and ideas.

I grew up in Gothenburg, Sweden, and since a very early age art has been a part of me.
During the years I have developed a range of interest in different categories, such as drawing, photography, language learning, traveling, cooking, swimming, gym, health, nutrition and self development. The list goes on, but let's stop there for now.

The only part of me that has followed me since early childhood is my artistic side. I loved to draw and the kids in my class always asked me to draw a cover picture for their story.
